August not only heralds the last in the trifecta of Midwest summer months, but also brings with it more exciting new initiatives here at Palantir. One of those initiatives is supporting in a more active manner our professional communities and client sectors with training and other learning and networking events.
We are excited to announce the first of our developer-oriented training classes: Drupal 8 Essentials which will be lead by Palantir core developers and module maintainers, including Web Services Core Initiative Lead Larry Garfield. Drupal 8 Essentials is an intensive two-day class administered in four sessions and is geared toward intermediate-level developers who will be faced with building or porting modules for Drupal 8 and want to get a leg-up in advance of the release. Drupal 8 Essentials is conveniently scheduled in the days immediately before the Midwest Drupal Summit (MWDS) which will also be hosted by Palantir. Palantir’s multi-purpose space, The Holodeck, is designed specifically for events such as these.
